The schedule of friendly games during Atromitos' FC stay at Germany has been confirmed today. The club will face Augsburg (Tuesday, 27 July), Freiburg (Friday, 30 July), AE Lemesou (Tuesday, 3 August), Greuther Furth (Friday, 6 August) at the second part of pre-season.

Atromitos FC agreed terms for the end of contract with Hristos Kalantzis. The players has honored the club with his professional approach and his ethic during his stay at the club for two years (51 appearances). Atromitos wishes him the best for his career.

Kavala FC will be the second opponent for Atromitos FC at Karpenisi friendlies. Larisa appeared to be a "bad" call after yesterday's draw which made both clubs to meet at first round and the friendly was canceled. Kavala will be the opponent on July 19, while the first test for Atromitos' players comes a day earlier against Olympiakos Volou.

Atromitos FC announce the deal with AO Trikala for the transfer of Panagiotis Korbos. The player had become a target for clubs of Super League and second division and had a great contribution at 2008-2009 season. Last year he played on loan since January for Olympiakos Volou. Atromitos FC wish him good luck with his career.

Delighted with his players' efforts and the pre-season conditions at Karpenisi is Giorgos Donis. The manager of Atromitos FC has praised the hard and quality job of the squad after the first days of trainings. The only missing player is Marcelo Sarmiento who's injured, but it's a matter of time to resume training.

The squad’s base at Karpenisi will be called “home” for Atromitos FC for the next 14 days from yesterday. The 28 players of Giorgos Donis already started the first part of pre-season trainings there and their goal will be the build-up of a stronger team which will produce better results than last year.

Pre-season is underway for Atromitos as the players had their first training today at Peristeri stadium. The supporters made it “hotter” for the squad, which acclaimed full praise and especially the two new faces, Henri Camara and Sambou Massaba. Tomorrow the players will travel to Karpenisi for the first part of pre-season.

Atromitos FC will start on Monday the official pre-season trainings, but the players have already started work. Today the blood and fitness tests have been concluded at the club’s training complex and the squad will have a day-off tomorrow. On Monday (19.00) the players will meet at Peristeri Stadium and the day after they will travel to Karpenisi for the first part of pre-season.

With the established blood and fitness tests will start Atromitos’ FC pre-season next Thursday. The first day of July will mark the unofficial opening of summer trainings for the players of Giorgos Donis, who will first pass the medical tests and will continue with the fitness tests at the training complex of the club.
