Atromitos FC left the field with a 1-1 draw against Panathinaikos at the first home friendly game of pre-season. The players of Giorgos Donis had their first chance with Camara after 15 minutes and Melissas followed with a second shot, before Baszczynski was awarded a penalty at 25'. Atromitos FC left the newly-named "Trolli-Arena" stadium of Greuther Furth with a goalless draw against the 2. bundesliga club. The Greek squad had a marvelous first half with great chances to score a goal after Perrone's efforts (31', 44'), Brito's shot (41') and Karagounis' try (26'). Atromitos FC was defeated at friendly game from AE Lemesou with 1-0. The friendly match took place on German soil and had some harsh moments during the first half, with hard tackles from both sides. Pavol had the first good chance for AE Lemesou after 34 minutes and one minute later it was Tatos who couldn't beat the keeper. Vargas scored a magnificent goal a minute later and Dos Santos' header hit the bar two minutes before the brake.

Atromitos FC had the chances for something better than the defeat with 1-0 from Freiburg FC at Austria. The players of Giorgos Donis had a great evening but were unlucky to concede just before the final whistle from Immanuel Hohn. Atromitos FC had a possitive result at the strongest friendly game of pre-season up to date. At the first match on German soil, the Greek club earned a 2-2 draw against Augsburg, which lost at the play-off matches for the promotion at 1. Bundesliga.

Atromitos FC and Kavala finished their friendly game at Karpenisi with a draw (2-2). The players of Giorgos Donis played marvellous at first half and scored just once with Brito (30'), despite the fact they created many chances for more.

With the right foot started Atromitos FC the friendly pre-season games.
